Allardyce wants takeover news

arrel-chested Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce is hoping protracted takeover talks at Ewood Park will be concluded as soon as possible. Indian businessman Saurin Shah is reported to have been interested in acquiring the Ewood Park outfit for some time, but is yet to strike a deal.Should he be able to put an agreement in place, Rovers could find themselves in a position to splash out before the new season gets underway.Allardyce would certainly welcome the extra funds, but insists he just wants the issued resolved 'one way or the other' so he knows where he stands."It has been a considerable time since this consortium has been looking at possibly purchasing the club," he said in the Sunday Express."It will be very close to a decision one way or another. They've had all the information and all the due diligence done that they need to do."That consortium probably needs to make a decision one way or the other whether it is the right thing for them or not."It is very important for the whole club and particularly important for me to know where the club is going."If you are getting new owners you want to know what they want to do and how they want to progress as a football club, which is important for me and the players here."
