Coppinger sinks Owls

Doncaster concluded their pre-season campaign with a 1-0 win over South Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday. James Coppinger's first-half strike was enough to give Sean O'Driscoll's men victory against their League One neighbours. Rovers begin their Championship campaign next Saturday against Preston at Deepdale.
