Rotherham striker Ryan Taylor is in line for a return to action much earlier than first anticipated.
The 22-year-old, who enjoyed a good end to last season, sustained a broken metatarsal during the first few weeks of pre-season training that was expected to rule him out for around five months.
But manager Ronnie Moore told the club`s official website: "Ryan had an X-ray on Thursday, we have had a look at it and it`s progressing really well.
"If everything is okay again when he has his next X-ray in August then he will get the go-ahead to start training.
"The good news is that he could be back for us in mid-September."
