Interest mounts in Pirates draw

The League One club are offering local businesses the chance to buy a raffle ticket for £1,000 which gives the winning company the opportunity to become the club's shirt sponsor for the 2009/10 season. Almost thirty tickets have already been sold within the first day of the promotion, with a maximum of 100 up for grabs to provide entrants with a healthy chance of being successful. First prize is sponsorship of the club's home shirt for the entire campaign, second prize is the same but on the away shirt, while the company that scoops third prize will win a perimeter advertising board worth £2,500. Everyone who enters will also earn a special hospitality package worth £700. Rovers have been on the lookout for a new sponsor after Cowlin Construction opted not to renew their deal back in March.
