Redknapp keen to land keeper

Harry Redknapp is eager to add some security to his Tottenham squad with the addition of a new goalkeeper. Redknapp is keen to bolster his resources as Spurs prepare for their maiden Champions League campaign this season after securing a club record fourth-placed Premier League finish last term. Redknapp already has Brazil keeper and current No.1 Heurelho Gomes at his disposal, while Italian Carlo Cudicini has recently returned from a long spell on the sidelines following a motorcycle accident. But with youngster David Button heading out on loan, Redknapp is looking to invest in another option between the sticks, with Croatian shot-stopper Stipe Pletikosa his favoured target. "That's a possibility, we're looking to take a loan there," Redknapp told Sky Sports News. "I've got Gomes and I've got Carlo, which is good, but the young lad David Button is going out on loan so I feel we need three keepers. "Carlo is coming back from a bad accident so we don't want to leave ourselves short. We'll be looking to bring another keeper in to give us three goalkeepers."
