Tigers trio get Ireland call-ups

Hull trio Kevin Kilbane, Paul McShane and Caleb Folan have been called into the Republic of Ireland squad for the friendly against Argentina. Republic coach Giovanni Trapattoni has named a 28-man squad for the friendly against the South Americans on August 11.The game will mark the opening of the new 50,000-seater Aviva Stadium in Dublin, which has replaced Lansdowne Road.The Republic are scheduled to play Armenia and Andorra in European Championship qualifiers in September.
