Mark Hughes set for Fulham job

Fulham are closing in on naming Mark Hughes as their new manager. The Cottagers are without a boss as they prepare for the new season after Roy Hodgson's move to Liverpool earlier in the summer. Hughes, who initially impressed at City after fine work at Blackburn, is keen to return to management and views Fulham as an ideal post. However, with just over two weeks until the start of the season, he will have to work quickly in the transfer market if he wants to rebuild their squad.Another late contender for the post is Roberto Donadoni.
