FC Twente reject West Brom's £3m bid for Cheick Tiote

West Brom have had a bid of £3m rejected for Ivorian midfielder Cheick Tiote. The FC Twente star started all three games for his country in this summer's World Cup and caught the eye of a number of Premier League clubs. Fulham and Birmingham have both made enquiries for the 24-year-old, but West Brom are the first to make an actual bid, which was of £2.7m rising to £3m based on appearances. But it isthought that the player would favour a move to a London-based PremierLeague after previously being snubbed by the Baggies.
