Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp felt his side could have snatched maximum points at Everton.
Jermain Defoe went closest for Spurs with a shot on the turn that flashed inches wide, with Redknapp`s men threatening on the break in the goalless draw.
He said: "We tried a new system with three centre-backs and two wing-backs. It is something I used earlier in the season when I brought Portsmouth here and got a 3-0 win.
"We decided to try something different. We had plenty of possession and maybe deserved more from the game."
