Casper goes as Bantams cut costs

The Bantams are estimated to have lost around £250,000 of extra revenue by failing to reach the League Two play-offs while boss Stuart McCall and his assistant Wayne Jacobs have taken 20% wage cuts.David Wetherall will combine running the youth side next season with the reserves while many players have been offered reduced terms to remain at the club."Chris has done a great job with the youth lads, as well as working closely with David with the reserves," McCall told the club's official website."This decision is nothing to do with his ability and his work. It's just a cost-cutting measure that we had to make."Wethers has got a year left as a coach and the board said I've got to lose a member of staff. We know a lot of clubs look like they could go to the wall and we don't want to be one of them."
