The Ibrox striker has failed to pin down a regular first-team spot this season after recovering from a knee injury that kept him out of the game for eight months.Naismith was included in the Scotland B side which beat their Northern Ireland counterparts 3-0 at Broadwood on Wednesday night, which suggested he will not feature in Saturday's crunch Old Firm game at Ibrox.Walters Smith side's, who meet Falkirk in the Homecoming Scottish Cup final at the end of May, trail the champions by one point with four games remaining. While Naismith accepts he may have to watch from the stand at Ibrox, he believes he can play an important part in the run-in.He said: "You would need to ask the manager about Saturday."Obviously, I've not been stripped in the last couple of games but I'm definitely ready to contribute if the manager calls upon me. That's all I can do."Obviously missing out on a pre-season has been a major setback."But I've just worked as hard as I could - I'm feeling great and as fit as I can be."But when you have the strikers that Rangers have, who are on form, then it makes it tough to get in to the team."There are three other hard league games after the Celtic one and I'm sure every one will be tough."Saturday is just another chance to take the advantage."
