Yeates feels home form cost U's

The U's finished the season in 12th position but only managed seven victories from 23 games at the Weston Homes Community Stadium. And manager Paul Lambert this week individually met up with his players including Yeates, who missed out on the chance to join Crystal Palace last summer due to a failed medical. The midfielder told the East Anglian Daily Times: "Obviously what's said between the gaffer and the rest of us is private. But he had a little chat with each of us."He went over the performances during the season and I think that generally he was pleased with how things went. I've still got another year left on my contract so I'm still a Colchester player."We had a poor start to the season which left us playing catch-up but we'll be looking to do better next season. It was our home form that let us down."
