Adebayor pledges his allegiance

Emmanuel Adebayor insists he is '100 per cent' certain he will be an Arsenal player next season. The Togo international continues to be linked with a summer switch to AC Milan, with the Italian giants having trailed the burly frontman for some time.Adebayor insists he has no intention of leaving Emirates Stadium, though, and has reiterated his dedication to the Gunners cause.Despite facing up to the prospect of another trophyless season, the 25-year-old is adamant he can fulfil his ambitions in north London and has no need to move on."Arsenal put me where I am today - they made me one of the biggest strikers in the world. I have to pay them back," he said."How am I going to pay them back? Make them win trophies. That is what I am here for and I have to fight for that."Next season, 100 per cent, I am an Arsenal footballer."Before signing for Arsenal, people were telling me I have the chance to win things here."Now I am empty-handed - but I do not have any reason for leaving until I get the trophies that I came here for."BeliefArsenal's final opportunity to pick up some silverware this term was shattered on Tuesday night as they crashed out of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals at the hands of Manchester United. While disappointed to have seen a promising campaign come to nothing, Adebayor believes Arsene Wenger's young side will respond positively to their latest setback and come back stronger."We are learning things and just want to achieve," he said."We just have to believe and keep going."We are very disappointed for the fans for the way they believed we can do it."We are very sorry for that and it is very important for the next season that we are here to play and bring glory to this club."As soon as we have the chance to win the first trophy, many will follow."
