Cissokho confirms Spurs interest

Porto star Aly Cissokho has told skysports.com that a host of big clubs are chasing his signature, including Tottenham. The 21-year-old left-back only moved to the Dragao last year from Vitoria Setubal but he has made an enormous impact for Jesualdo Ferreira's side.He came to the attention of English scouts when he came up against Cristiano Ronaldo in Porto's UEFA Champions League quarter-final clash against Manchester United, when he had a storming game in the first-leg at Old Trafford.A string of clubs are now gearing up to make summer bids for the 21-year-old."I have a contract until 2012 and the club officials want me to add another year to that," he told skysports.com."That shows they have trust in me and I am proud of that."I also know there are big clubs looking at me, and Tottenham is one of them and that is fine."I will talk with my club and we will see what happens from there."We will just wait until the end of the season and then see."Cissokho has also confirmed to the Spanish press that Atletico Madrid are in contention to sign him.
