York need home comforts

Published: 20 Mar 2010 - 01:57:46

York City boss Martin Foyle said his side must get their home form back on track ahead of the visit of promotion rivals AFC Wimbledon this weekend. Five of York's last nine games this season will be in front of their own supporters, who had previously seen them unbeaten in 23 successive games at Bootham Crescent until consecutive defeats to Eastbourne Borough and Salisbury City.“We need to get our home form back on track. Our fans were outstanding at Altrincham and Mansfield and that helps," Foyle told The Press.“The players respond to the positive support and, at this time of the season when you get a lot of nervous football because the rewards are so big, the crowd can really play a major part.”
