Ashley Chambers could return for York City in their Monday evening live televised clash with Kidderminster Harriers at Bootham Crescent.

The former Leicester City striker is back in training after recovering from an ankle injury but fellow forward Jamie Reed is again doubtful due to an ongoing knee problem. Manager Gary Mills must decide whether to revert to his more favoured set-up after fielding an unfamiliar 3-5-2 formation for the recent FA Trophy victory at Solihull Moors.“I wouldn’t say playing 3-5-2 was a one-off. It was something me and Darron (Gee) talked about straight after the first game with Solihull and decided to go with for the replay," Mills told The Press.“It worked well for us and the players deserve credit for that because we didn’t have much time to work on it but they grasped the new formation quickly. "It’s nice we can adjust and I think we will use it again – there’s no two ways about that. It’s a system we’ve thought about before and, recently, we’ve not been at our best with the formation that has taken us forward for most of the season.” Kidderminster have former Aston Villa schemer Lee Hendrie and goalkeeper Tony Breeden back in contention after being recently cup-tied.But midfielder James Vincent is ruled out with a knee injury.
