Foyle calls for end to mistakes
York City manager Martin Foyle has called for an end to the mistakes that have cost his side three goals over the first week of the season. Goalkeeper Michael Ingham was at fault for the second time in three matches as the Minstermen struggled to a 2-2 draw at part-timers Bath City at the weekend. "An individual mistake has cost us," Foyle told The Press. "I can`t do anything about that as a manager. Unfortunately, that`s the second one Inghy has made so far this season, so three out of the four goals we have conceded have been mistakes."Meanwhile, striker Michael Gash was on target for the visitors at the opposite end and his performance was enough to draw praise from his manager."Gashy has been our best player over the three games. End of story," he added. "The first game,he tried hard and worked hard. At Grimsby he put his backside in there and he has got that little bit of nous in him that I am trying to get into Michael Rankine and Richard Brodie."
