Burton Albion v York City
York City were expected to rely on the same side that earned then a 1-1 draw at Exeter City at the weekend for their visit to Burton Albion later this evening (kick-off 7.45pm). The visitors are still without the likes of David McGurk, Scott Kerr, Chris Doig, Oli Johnson and Jamie Reed due to injuries. But six games unbeaten leaves them in exceptionally good heart as they return to the Pirelli Stadium for the first time in four years. Both clubs dropped into mid-table following last night's games but have the chance of claiming a top-six place with victory. "If I'm honest I'd rather not have the extra day off and play on the same evening as everybody else," manager Gary Mills told BBC Radio York. "We said in the dressing room after the game that getting a point at Exeter shows the strides we've made this season. "We seem to keep playing teams who've just had big results and obviously they won 4-0 on Saturday. "If we can find a consistency, that I think we're capable of, then we can get a result against any team in this league." Burton are already lacking midfielder Chris Palmer and winger Cleveland Taylor is also a doubt going into the game. The Brewers will be looking to build upon their impressive 4-0 weekend home victory against Oxford United.
