Brodie signs new contract at York

York City striker Richard Brodie has signed a new contract which will keep him at the club until May 2011. Manager Martin Foyle had already used an option to retain Brodie for a further season but the player has now committed to York for another year. The 21-year-old joined York from Newcastle Benfield in 2007.
