Bradford City v York City
York City manager Gary Mills could make changes for the weekend visit to neighbours Bradford City. The Minstermen crashed out of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy in midweek following a 4-0 home defeat to Coventry. Striker Jason Walker was left on crutches after the game while defender Chris Doig had earlier limped off with a calf injury. Should both be ruled out this weekend, Jamie Reed and David McGurk could earn recalls to the side after both performed well for the reserves during the week. Reed scored twice and Jonathan Smith added a third in a 3-0 behind-closed-doors friendly win against Scunthorpe on Wednesday - a game in which the recovering McGurk completed a full ninety minutes after being sidelined since New Year's Day. Elsewhere, Patrick McLaughlin, Michael Coulson and Daniel Parslow will hope for returns after being rested last time out while right-back Lanre Oyebanjo is still out with a thigh injury. "We've had a few results where things haven't gone our way but I'm certainly not treating the midweek result as a crisis," Mills told BBC Radio York. "The players have to hold their hands up because they made major mistakes but it happens in football. "I'd be more concerned about our scoring form if we weren't creating chances. We're just having a bad spell at the moment. "It's a game we'll look forward to and embrace. We've worked hard to make sure we have these games." The Bantams are without full-back Rory McArdle after being called into the Northern Ireland squad. But fellow defender Luke Oliver should recover in time from a hip injury whilst there are recalls for ex-York left-back James Meredith and Bermudan international striker Nekhi Wells.
