Minstermen can call on Halliday

York are expected to include teenager Brad Halliday in their starting line-up against Stevenage following the Middlesbrough defender's return to the club on loan.

The right-back, who has served a three-game ban following his dismissal in his last appearance for the Minstermen, is back at Bootham Crescent until the end of the season.

York have also extended Stephane Zubar's loan from Bournemouth for the remainder of the campaign, but the central defender will serve the second of a four-match ban following his second dismissal of the season against Plymouth.

Goalkeeper Michael Ingham (shoulder) is boss Russ Wilcox's only injured player so on-loan Bobby Olejnik will resume after making his debut last week at Wycombe.

Stevenage will probably have an unchanged squad for the long trip north.

Boro boss Graham Westley is trying to bring David McAllister back to the club from Shrewsbury, but that may not happen in time for Saturday's match.

Calvin Zola, who has recently returned from injury, continued to top up his fitness by playing 74 minutes of a 5-3 Herts Senior Cup defeat to Boreham Wood but the striker still remains some way off starting a game.

Ryan Brunt, Jack Jebb (knee) and Jon Ashton (ankle) are still unavailable to Westley, whose side are unbeaten in five league outings - winning four.
