York City have signed Luton Town striker Jason Walker for an undisclosed fee. Walker, 27, has agreed a two-year deal at Bootham Crescent after previously rejecting them when signing for Luton eight months ago.But he experienced a rather chequered time at Kenilworth Road and never really won over their fans, particularly after missing from the spot during a penalty shoot-out in their play-off final defeat to AFC Wimbledon at Eastlands last month. However, Walker's previous record at Barrow was excellent with 39 goals in just over a hundred appearances, including a memorable extra-time winner in the FA Trophy final against Stevenage at Wembley two years ago.Minstermen  chief Gary Mills was always keen to significantly improve his attacking options following a very poor return last season, and has now brought in three new strikers after earlier signing former loanee Ashley Chambers from Leicester City and Watford's Liam Henderson.Kidderminster Harriers' lightening fast winger Matty Blair and Lincoln City's veteran goalkeeper Paul Musselwhite have also arrrived at the club since the end of last season, while further signings are still planned.
