York director Doyle steps down

York City finance director Terry Doyle has left the board of the club, the Minstermen have announced.Doyle has been a director of the club for seven years and has also edited the club's matchday programmes.

The York City board said Doyle's departure was due to an internal matter and is not in any way related to the finances of the club.

Communications director Sophie Hicks said: "On behalf of the directors, we thank Terry for his efforts."
