York City v Scunthorpe United

27 July 2010 17:19
York City should have Duane Courtney in their side when taking on Scunthorpe United at Bootham Crescent tonight (kick-off 7.45pm). Courtney has overcome a knee injury and is set to make his first appearance for the Minstermen following his recent arrival from Kidderminster Harriers. But fellow summer recruit Greg Young will be an absentee after limping off early in the victory over Morecambe at the weekend."Duane is going to be part of the team. He’s a fit guy and it has been frustrating for the new players. He is desperate to get out there," manager Martin Foyle told The Press"Greg is sore and he has had a jab in it. He wants to be involved but he won’t be tonight. He will be involved on Saturday,” he added.  Scunthorpe are likely to include former York duo Martyn Woolford (inset) and Adam Boyes within their ranks. Otherwise, top goalscorer Gary Hooper has departed the club and completed a £2.4m move to Celtic, while Niall Canavan (knee) and Michael O'Connor (thigh) are both rated doubtful.
