York City and Mansfield Town contest their play-off semi-final first-leg at Bootham Crescent this evening (kick-off 7.30pm).

The Minstermen have goalkeeper Michael Ingham [left] returning after missing their last three games with a shin injury, as they look to reach Wembley for a second time this season.

Midfielders Scott Kerr and Eugen Bopp are already ruled out for the season along with defender David McGurk and the suspended Ben Gibson.

"I've been excited by every game this season. Is this just another game? It's massive for this football club," manager Gary Mills told BBC Radio York.

"We've earned the right to be playing Mansfield in this two-legged semi-final. We know the prize and we want it.

"We want to get to Wembley again. We want that opportunity to get this wonderful football club back in the Football League.

"The adrenalin's pumping round my body already but nothing changes. We have to approach it the same."

Mansfield are set to recall a number of players rested against Kidderminster Harriers at the weekend. Leading scorer Matt Green, skipper Adam Murray and goalkeeper Alan Marriot are all poised to return to a side who have won each of their last six xgames.

The second-leg is at Mansfield on Bank Holiday Monday afternoon with the eventual winners facing either Wrexham or Luton Town in the final at Wembley.
