York City and Mansfield Town meet for the second time in six days at Bootham Crescent on New Year's Day.

The two clubs shared a 1-1 draw at Field Mill on Boxing Day after Matt Green's early opener was cancelled out by Liam Henderson for the visitors.Home skipper Chris Smith [right] misses out on facing his former club after being cautioned for the fifth time this season at Mansfield. But David McGurk should recover from the slight knee problem which forced him out of training during the week.Leading scorer Jason Walker is sidelined for around a month with a groin injury and therefore ex-Watford striker Henderson could well continue after being on target last time out. "We've started our home games very poorly of late and conceded early goals so to start well would be great," manager Gary Mills told BBC Radio York."We conceded early at Mansfield through our own fault again and it's important now that we put that right and we get things starting well."It's a massive game as we know. We've dropped off the pace a little bit in the last couple of weeks so we've got to make sure that we win on Sunday and stay in there."Mansfield top scorer Green was expected to recover from a dead-leg suffered in the previous game, while defender Ritchie Sutton returns from suspension and replaces the now banned John Dempster.  Midfielder Gary Roberts may also feature after arriving from Port Vale.
