York City v Luton Town

Skipper Chris Smith (groin) and striker Ashley Chambers (calf) should both be available as York City size up to new leaders Luton Town at Bootham Crescent this weekend. The Minstermen totally destroyed former table-toppers Wrexham at the Racecourse Ground last week and will be looking to repeat it against their latest visitors.Manager Gary Mills was expected to name an unchanged side from the previous two games following an entertaining midweek draw with Darlington.Leading scorer Jason Walker netted his seventh goal of the season in that game while Jamie Reed struck for the third consecutive match. And Mills was still expecting much from £60,000 summer capture Walker as he comes up against his former club for the first time.“Jason Walker has got his personal feelings and reasons for wanting to do well tomorrow and he’s got to handle that right because these things are never easy," he told The Press.“I expect their fans were not pleased with him coming here and leaving Luton but he’s just got to carry on doing what he has been doing. His movement and link-up play have been outstanding and he’s scored seven goals in ten matches, which, if he carries on at that rate, will get him 30 goals this season.“I’m sure he will handle the occasion correctly because he’s a good professional who takes a lot of stick from defenders but never retaliates.” Luton are without a whole host of players including their own leading marksman Amari Morgan-Smith, who is suspended after being sent-off during the midweek draw at Bath City.Meanwhile, Dean Beckwith (suspended), George Pilkington, Shane Blackett, Keith Keane, Curtis Osano, Dan Gleeson, Freddie Murray and Charlie Henry could all similarly be unavailable.
