York City v Ebbsfleet United

York City are boosted by the return of a couple of key players for the weekend visit of Ebbsfleet United.

Both David McGurk and Lanre Oyebanjo have recovered from injury and are recalled to the squad as the hosts chase valuable points in a bid to maintain their challenge towards the top of the table. But leading goalscorer Jason Walker is still out with the groin muscle tear that has sidelined him since the middle of last month.

However, manager Gary Mills was still in buoyant mood after seeing latest signing Matthew Blinkhorn on target in the 6-2 win at Salisbury City in the FA Trophy last time out."We're positive, there's been a good belief around the place for a couple of weeks now."

Mills told BBC Radio York."We'd had a little dip of drawing games so we've had to build ourselves back up. We knew where we want to get to, you have to keep winning and it's the hardest thing to do."The feeling around the place is better than what it was I have to say.

Whether we felt a little sorry for ourselves that we'd dropped a few points I don't know."The visitors are currently waiting upon the fitness of Tom Phipp, who suffered a broken nose during their midweek 2-1 victory at Hayes & Yeading United.

Former York midfielder Neil Barrett could replace him, while Greek midfielder Giannoulis Fakinos has already been ruled out for the rest of the season with cartilage and ligament trouble. The two clubs meet again at Bootham Crescent in a fortnight's time in the FA Trophy.
