New manager Gary Mills takes charge as York City attempt to end a sequence of three successive defeats against Bath City at Bootham Crescent. The former Tamworth boss was named as Martin Foyle's successor on Wednesday and is joined by his long-time assistant Darron Gee.  “I’m delighted to be here. It’s nice to be wanted and I need to repay the chairman for that," Mills told The Press.“We have been given an opportunity that we thought might not come our way again," he added. "We had a bit of a disappointment at Notts County, but proved once more how capable we are at Alfreton and Tamworth and that opened this door at York City.“I am here for one reason only – to make this club successful. We will turn things around and make the team start believing they can win football matches. We also want other teams to be afraid of coming to play York City.” Mills is likely to adopt a 4-3-3 formation at York, who have been without their top scorer Michael Rankine (right) for the past couple of games due to an ankle injury. The hosts are still lacking the services of midfielders Levi Mackin and Chris Carruthers as well as forward George Purcell.Bath are similarly missing injured trio Luke Ruddick, Lewis Hogg and Joe Burnell, but Adam Connolly, Gethin Jones and Hector Mackie are all back in contention with former Bristol City stalwart Scott Murray likely to be again on the bench.
