York City striker Richard Brodie lashed in a tremendous late winner to inflict a first pre-season defeat on Championship side Scunthorpe United at Bootham Crescent. The Minstermen dominated for long stages against their higher-ranked opponents, but appeared set to be left frustrated until second-half substitute Brodie eventually broke the deadlock just before the end.
