In-form Boro cruise past York
Stevenage have now collected 16 points from a possible 18 following a comprehensive 2-0 win at York.
Adam Marriott and Tom Pett were both on target as the visitors extended their impressive unbeaten run to a sixth game.
Stevenage were the dominant side during the opening 45 minutes with Chris Whelpdale and Charlie Lee both missing early chances.
Home keeper Bobby Olejnik also made a brilliant save to deny Pett before Adam Marriott headed the visitors in front in the 39th minute.
Marriott followed up to net after Lee's 15-yard dipping volley had crashed back into play off the York crossbar.
Graham Westley's men doubled their advantage in the 64th minute when Pett brilliantly found Olenjnik's top left-hand corner from 30 yards after being picked out by a Whelpdale corner.
York's best chances of a consolation fell to striker Jake Hyde but he hit the roof of the stand twice with his head and a volley.
