Wrexham v York City

11 September 2010 11:10
Leon Constantine could earn a start after scoring on his debut last weekend as York City visit the Racecourse Ground. The former Notts County striker appeared as a second-half substitute against Rushden & Diamonds following his arrival until the end of the season, and proceeded to make the first goal and claim the second in a 2-0 success at Bootham Crescent. "I would have no problems starting with Leon," manager Martin Foyle confirmed to  The Press. "He doesn`t carry any weight and has always been a player who can get on with things, whereas other players in his situation might not have been fit now."Defender Djoumin Sangare (right) had to be substituted during that game after needing stitches to a head wound, but should be able to continue. However, midfielders Levi Mackin and Chris Carruthers are both still ruled out.Wrexham boss Dean Saunders has concerns in defence with Neil Ashton suspended as a result of his sending-off in the 1-1 draw at Newport County, while Marvin Andrews is struggling with a hamstring injury. The vastly experienced former Chelsea defender Frank Sinclair and Johnny Hunt are ready to deputise.Meanwhile, ex-York striker Kevin Gall could lose his place to returning one-time Forest Green Rovers marksman Andy Mangan, but another former York man Christian Smith is set to continue in midfield after already finding the net three times this season.
