York City winger Peter Till is set to quit the club and sign for Blue Square Bet Premier rivals Fleeetwood Town. Till, 25, was out of contract at Bootham Crescent after scoring four times in 44 appearances for the Minstermen since his release from Walsall last summer. He previously had a spell at Grimsby Town after originally beginning his career as a trainee with hometown club Birmingham City."He did okay for me. I knew, as much as you can in football, what was going on and knew Peter was going to Fleetwood anyway," manager Gary Mills told The Press. "He wasn't someone that was in my plans so it wasn't a shock. It was something I was expecting."Till will therefore reunite with former York team-mate Richard Brodie at Fleetwood, who recently signed him on a season-long loan from promoted Crawley Town.
