Tamworth v York City

Winger Matty Blair could return for York City in their game at Tamworth this weekend. The former Kidderminster Harriers forward has shaken off his calf problem and is in line for an immediate recall as manager Gary Mills revisits his old club.“I’ve not gone anywhere near Tamworth this week," Mills told The Press. "I’ve ignored the papers and anyone trying to call me from Tamworth because I am not interested. I am just interested in getting three points for us on Saturday because I know how important that is. "That is not me trying to be horrible in any way towards anybody at Tamworth. It’s just me concentrating on my job, on my club and what we are about.“It’s not the nicest ground. It’s what it is," he continued. "If you are not switched on to go somewhere like Tamworth you can get turned over. We used to turn a few teams over because that was the case.“It’s a place we have to go and dig in. They have done well there and we have to be the first club to go there this season and win. I am desperate to go and do that.” The Minstermen also welcome back Lanre Oyebanjo, Patrick McLaughlin and Andre Boucaud from international duty but luckless midfielder David McDermott is still out.Tamworth are without skipper and former York defender Duane Courtney due to an ankle injury.
