Rotherham United v York City

It's a Yorkshire derby in the FA Cup first round as York City journey to the Don Valley Stadium to take on League Two promotion hopefuls Rotherham United. The Minstermen made it as far as the third round of the competition last season when they eventually lost out 3-1 at Premier League Stoke City. Prior to that they had already defeated Football League opposition in Crewe Alexandra in the first round at Bootham Crescent. Manager Gary Mills is gradually beginning to be able to welcome back some of his sidelined players. Chris Carruthers has recently returned to action while fellow midfielder Levi Mackin (right) is also back in training, but not yet ready to make his return. That would leave striker George Purcell as their only casualty. And Mills was feeling confident that his side are certainly well capable of getting a result."We`re York City. Why should we raise our game because Rotherham are one league ahead of us and a few places ahead of us?," he told The Press. "We`re not a million miles away from them so I`m not going to get carried away."We might be the underdogs, but we`re not that far away from them. We`ve just got to tidy up in areas and eventually get to where they are. That`s my aim."We`re going to go to Rotherham positive, as a team that can play and do the job very well. I know I`ve got players who could certainly play at the level Rotherham are."Rotherham have recently recruited young midfielder Mark Randall on loan from Arsenal. But he is ruled out after suffering a fractured collarbone at Southend United last week.Meanwhile, Ryan Creswell is expected to continue in a defence that will have former York goalkeeper Andy Warrington between the posts.
