Michael Rankine is sure that his York City side can win promotion back to the Football League come the end of the season. The Doncaster-born marksman raised his overall tally for the campaign to three with a quickfire brace after appearing as a second-half substitute in a 3-0 victory against Altrincham at the weekend. And he is sure that York can continue to pick up and even improve on their outstanding efforts of last season, when they were only denied promotion by Oxford United in the play-off final at Wembley."Everyone's confident of us getting promoted this time," Rankine told BBC Radio York. "We've got the quality in the changing room and kept quite a few of the players from last year so I think we've got a great chance."Rankine joined the Minstermen from Rushden & Diamonds at the start of last season in a part-exchange deal that took Craig Farrell to Nene Park.
