Pitt not worried about opponents

York City's on loan winger Courtney Pitt has no real preference over who lines-up against the Minstermen in next week's play-off semi-final. The 28-year-old is currently on loan from Cambridge United until the end of the campaign, but includes both Luton Town and Oxford United amongst his former clubs. And he firmly believes that either of them would provide stiff but beatable opposition in the play-offs. “I don’t really mind which of them we play," he told The Press. "They’re obviously good clubs at this level and would both be tough opponents but we’re happy to play either of them.“Luton were favourites to win the league at the start of the season and might be disappointed that they haven’t, although they’ve been on a great run. Oxford might also be disappointed not to have won the league having been leading it for a long time but there’s no pressure on us.“We’ve just got to try to apply ourselves and do the best we can. Then, hopefully, our quality and strength will shine through,” Pitt added.Paddington-born Pitt has recently lost his starting place in the York side after a change in formation by manager Martin Foyle. But he has to date managed eleven appearances and scored once at Bootham Crescent, and is still hopeful of more opportunities to prove his worth and earn a possible deal for next season.  “You want to play in every game so it’s been disappointing not to be involved recently but, hopefully, I can get some minutes in the play-offs to show what I can do.”
