Last season's clubman of the year was one of seven changes to the side, as manager Gary Mills rotated his squad."I loved it, I really did enjoy it," Parslow told BBC Radio York."I'll do my bit wherever the gaffer needs me but playing at centre-back is just where I feel more comfortable, it just felt familiar."Parslow had started one game at left-back and made three substitute appearances in midfield, before starting for the first time this season in his favoured role."If I need to play centre-midfield, right-back or wherever, it's one of those things, I'll take it on the chin and I'll try and do my best," he added.Parslow, who turns 26 in November, believes City's defeat at the Racecourse Ground left everyone disappointed."There were a lot of positives to take out of the game," he said. "A lot of us haven't had much football this year. I enjoyed it and I'm sure many others did as well."Parslow is in his sixth season at Bootham Crescent, and he was reunited in defence with the club's longest-serving player Dave McGurk, who put the ball into his own net for Wrexham's late winner."We were just an own goal away from a replay. If David had missed the ball I think it was going in anyway [Wrexham's Danny Wright was behind him, four yards out], it was just one of those things," he added.Now Parslow is looking forward to the return clash against the Blue Square Bet Premier leaders, in the league at Bootham Crescent on Saturday."We just need to make sure that, come next Saturday, we pick up three big points, and this will all be forgotten about," he said.Source: BBC Sport
