Not good enough - Foyle

York City boss Martin Foyle labelled his side as not good enough after they slid to their second defeat of the season at Fleetwood Town. The Minstermen trailed as early as the seventh minute when Gareth Seddon opened the scoring and proceeded to labour thoughout until Magno Vieira added a late second following an error from the usually reliable James Meredith. Defender Greg Young did pull a goal back on his debut just before the final whistle, but it wasn't enough to avoid defeat.“I am majorly disappointed," Foyle told The Press. "It was very lacklustre and I can’t stick up for them. We worked on certain things and we didn’t seem to have the energy levels there.“We made one or two changes to freshen it up because one or two were struggling but we huffed and puffed and certainly didn’t rise to the challenge," he continued.“I can’t [work it out]. Some of them are on their last legs, which is surprising because we didn’t really do anything [on Sunday]. We just went through a little bit of shape. “It wasn’t good enough and I can understand the supporters grumbling and moaning there because I have, Andy Porter has and the players have actually criticised themselves."Foyle had earlier left out recent signing Peter Till despite a promising performance from the former Walsall winger against Altrincham at the weekend.“Tilly has played one game and he was tired," he added. "I made that decision and I was hoping I would get a good 30 minutes out of him because he hasn’t played that much football.“Peter Till will be playing Saturday but I thought this game was too quick for him and he looked tired. We live and die by our decisions and maybe it was the wrong one.”
