Luton Town have released on loan York City forward Craig Nelthorpe after failing to make an immediate return to the Football League. Nelthorpe moved to Kenilworth Road in January until the end of the season, but was restricted to only eight substitute appearances. The Doncaster-born winger originally joined York at the start of the season from Oxford United, although he only featured seven times for them from the bench. As a result he was loaned out to Barrow and scored twice in six starts for the Cumbrians.Luton have also released goalkeeper Shane Gore, midfielders Rossi Jarvis and Asa Hall, striker Steve Basham, and on loan trio Liam Hatch, Mark Nwokeji and Gavin Caines.
