Mills frustrated by postponement

Manager Gary Mills was left frustrated after York City's weekend home game with current Blue Square Bet Premier leaders fell victim of the adverse weather. An impressive seven-match undefeated run has recently moved the Minstermen back up the table and also earned them an FA Cup third round visit to Premier League Bolton Wanderers next month. And Mills has since been rewarded with a manager of the month title after completing only his first full month in charge following his recent move from Tamworth. But with the Bootham Crescent pitch presently covered by around a foot of snow, the cancellation of their latest clash with the table-topping Dons has probably come at a rather unfortunate time for rapidly improving York. "I am gutted because we are on a good run," Mills told The Press. "The lads are confident and, even though that won`t go away, it would have been nice to play the top-of-the-table team at home tomorrow. "We have had some great results over the last few weeks and it would have been a great time to play them."
