Gary Mills was left celebrating at the end of a crucial 1-0 home victory over Fleetwood Town, which kept his York City side well in the play-off race. But it took a change of formation towards the end of the first-half and a double substitution at the start of the second to eventually turn the contest in the Minstermen's favour. One of those substitutes, Jamie Reed, volleyed what proved the winner within three minutes of his introduction after Liam Darville headed back a Peter Till cross."It worked for us and it is nice when it happens like that," Mills told The Press. "We changed to 4-4-2 with 15 minutes to go in the first half. We made a couple of changes at half-time. It worked and we stuck one in the top corner. It was superb."Reed has now netted twice since joining the club from Welsh Premier League club Bangor City last month."He`s got a lot to learn," Mills added. "He has come into a level of football where he is going to show what a good player he is. He is a goalscorer and he will stick them in with his backside or get the volleys."Mills also selected recent signing Liam Darville at right-back in preference to Daniel Parslow, and described leaving out the 25-year-old Welshman as his most difficult decision yet in football."I had to make a decision with Daniel Parslow who has been outstanding for the football club and I have had to get him in and drop him," he added. "I have been in management for 15 years and it is the hardest thing I have had to do. He has been outstanding for me."
