Key decision for latest opponents

Hayes & Yeading United manager Garry Haylock must decide between his stand-in goalkeeper Delroy Preddie and veteran 39-year-old Lee Harrison for the visit of York City this weekend. Preddie (right) has filled the role for the past few games while Harrison was sidelined with a groin injury, and kept a clean sheet in the victory against Southport last weekend.  "Lee struggled against Gateshead so we brought Delroy in," Haylock told the Uxbridge Gazette. "It is a combination that Lee is not fully fit and Delroy has done well. We will make a decision on that from week to week."Haylock had been trying to address his side having the second worst defence in the league by recently looking at bringing in Crystal Palace youngster Sam Holland and AFC Wimbledon's Ed Harris. However, he has witnessed an improvement of late from his current charges and hoped to continue that against the Minstermen this coming weekend."Maybe the fact that they know I have been trying to bring someone in has made people step up their games," he added. "We have certainly worked on it very hard, sometimes you work on it for three or four weeks and it only clicks at the end of that spell. In the last four games we have only conceded two goals and have got six points - it makes a big difference."
