Keeper praise from Mills

Gary Mills has praised his goalkeeper Michael Ingham after saving the Minstermen from defeat at Altrincham in midweek. The 30-year-old was twice forced to deny striker Damian Reeves with sharp blocks as the lowly Robins threatened an upset at Moss Lane. However, the game eventually finished 0-0 courtesy of the exploits of the former Northern Ireland international."The keeper had to pull off two or three outstanding saves," Mills told The Press. "His starting position was very good and he came out and made a couple of good blocks. "Some people might say that's what he's paid for but I don't want my keeper worked as hard as that in matches."
