Out-of-favour Liam Henderson scored on his Forest Green Rovers debut after joining them on a month's loan from York City.

The 21-year-old striker has moved to the New Lawn after being restricted to just a single appearance for the Minstermen since arriving at Bootham Crescent over the summer.Henderson netted the final goal in Rovers' emphatic 5-1 victory at Braintree Town shortly after his introduction as a late substitute.

But the former Watford man won't face his parent club when they visit Forest Green this weekend as he is ineligible, while also being unavailable for them in the FA Trophy.York manager Gary Mills is likely to be without leading scorer Jason Walker and midfielder Andre Boucaud for the game after both were sent-off in the weekend draw at Barrow.
