York City's on loan striker Michael Gash scored four times as Rushden & Diamonds defeated Bath City 5-1 at Nene Park. Gash claimed a hat-trick of first-half headers beginning on nine minutes from an Alan Power cross. He then nodded his second midway through the half after Scott Murray had already equalised for the visitors from the penalty spot.Ryan Charles duly headed the hosts further into the lead from Justin Miller's 40th minute cross and then set up Gash for his hat-trick just four minutes later. The 24-year-old in turn made it 5-1 with his fourth of the evening with seventeen minutes remaining after former York striker Craig Farrell had linked up with Aaron O'Connor.
