Foyle may change formation

York City boss Martin Foyle may opt for a change of formation in the play-off final at Wembley this weekend. Opponents Oxford United are likely to field their usual 4-3-3 formation and Foyle could respond with an alteration of his own to combat their narrow three-man midfield. “Oxford play a certain way, and myself and Andy [Porter] will be looking at that," he told The Press. “I’m not afraid to change our tactics and we probably will have to.” The Minstermen will also be adopting a more business-like approach than for their FA Trophy final appearance twelve months previous.“We won’t be wearing suits, but I have done a deal with Nike to get new tracksuits and the chairman’s treating us to some new trainers," he added. "We will also be going down on the day of the game and having a pre-match meal as usual.“There’s nothing arranged for afterwards and nobody will be staying in the same hotel as us either. Last season was a party piece, this season’s more business than pleasure and the players understand and appreciate that.”
