Foyle lauds front two

York City manager Martin Foyle praised both his strikers following the thrilling 1-0 play-off semi-final first-leg home victory over an attractive Luton Town side. Ace marksman Richard Brodie snatched what could prove a vital lead for the Minstermen with a last-minute winner at a highly-charged Bootham Crescent. But Foyle was equally grateful to another tremendous stint from his always valuable but less usually acclaimed forward partner Michael Rankine.“A goalscorer will always be worth their weight in gold but Michael Rankine was outstanding as well," Foyle told The Press.“He was a right handful and they know that he is. I hope he can do exactly the same at Kenilworth Road.”  Foyle was delighted with the win but remaining typically cautious ahead of the return on Easter Monday."I`ve told the lads it`s only half-time and we know we are in for a hard game at their place."But I`m delighted to have kept a clean sheet against a very good side and to be going there with a lead," he added. "There were lots of plusses, but we won`t be shouting from the rooftops or getting excited because we are nowhere near there."     Hit-man Richard Brodie torments the Luton defence
