York City manager Martin Foyle blasted his players after their weekend 3-1 defeat at Eastbourne Borough. The Minstermen collapsed during the opening half as they conceded three times before Michael Rankine won and converted a penalty just before the break"The players have had a good rocket there and rightly so," Foyle told BBC Radio York."I thought for the first thirty minutes, we weren't all over the shop," he continued. "But we certainly didn't put our foot in, we didn't track runners, we didn't win tackles, we didn't win headers."There wasn't any real quality and to start a game of football like that was very disappointing."As a result of their defeat, York have slipped back into fifth place in the table, although their play-off place was already confirmed earlier in the week. Foyle will be hoping for a positive reacion when his side entertain Barrow at Bootham Crescent on Tuesday evening.
