Forest Green Rovers v York City

York City will be chasing a second successive victory for new manager Gary Mills when making the trip to struggling Forest Green Rovers this weekend. The Minstermen will come up against a side who are without a victory in twelve games and this week reacted to that statistic by announcing they would be returning to full-time status with immediate effect. York boss Mills is likely to announce an unchanged side from that which earned an impressive 2-0 triumph at Kidderminster Harriers in the FA Cup last week. That game saw the welcome return from injury of midfielder Chris Carruthers as an 81st minute substitute. However, two more of their stricken performers are still making their recoveries. Midfielder Levi Mackin is around a week away from returning to full training while striker George Purcell is currently only doing some light running.Latest signing Chris Smith will continue to lead the visitors following his recent return to the club, while Alex Lawless and Jonathan Smith (right) both face their former employers.         Jonathan Smith - on target last week"The eleven who played at Kidderminster were outstanding and did exactly what I asked of them," Mills told The Press. "I want people to show me that they want to keep the shirts and they have made it difficult for me to make changes, although that`s not to say I won`t."Recent loan signing Wayne Turk is likely to be given a full debut in midfield for Forest Green, who are expected to again pair another newcomer, Liam Enver-Marum, alongside top scorer Reece Styche. Goalkeeper James Bittner and fit-again Ross Dyer are both back in the squad after recovering from injuries, but midfielder Lee Fowler is a confirmed absentee with knee ligament damage.
